Class Format: Scheherazade will teach you all the basic movements of traditional Belly Dance. In her class you will grow stronger and embrace your feminine spirit and energy, you will also learn confidence, as well as sisterhood and a common bond with your sisters of the veil. What to Wear: Hip scarf or belt, Veil (2 and ¾ to 3 yards long), Zills, Leotards or loose clothes, Skirts, harem pants optional.

Teacher Info: Scheherazade is the traditional belly dancer and instructor. She has traveled around the world performing and teaching “the ancient art of the belly dance. Originally from San Diego , Scheherezade is an established world renowned dancer who has performed extensively throughout the United States , South & Central America and the Near & Middle East. In Egypt she was received with an open letter of invitation, to visit and perform for the late Egyptian President, Ansar Sadat. She is George Abdo's all time favorite Belly Dancer…. She has appeared on television as “Most Interesting Person & Life Style”, “The Linda Georgian Show” and Numerous times on Channel 2's Auctions. Her hobbies are dancing, oil painting and creating custom made costumes.
