Cost: $50 for one hour instruction. (up to 3 students). $50 Hour @ Studio and $60 in the Privacy of your Home.

Teaching: Belly Dance Beginner Basics, Yoga Belly Dance, Beginner Intro to Flamenco, Tantric Dance of Feminine Power & Beginner Exotic Dance.

Class Format: All my teachings have a Spiritual Base. My intent is to show you how beautiful you are, to relax and really enjoy yourself while you dance. I give you the basic tools so that you can embark on fulfilling that part of you that wants to move, be free, sensual, sexy & exotic while you are toning, firming and firing up your metabolism.

What to Wear: anything that makes you feel comfortable and sensual.

Teacher Info: Carmen/ Bast Magic Woman (BMW). I have been dancing all my life in some fashion or other. Started with formal training as a young girl in ballet & flamenco. In my twenties I studied Martha Graham's Modern Dance technique and Belly Dance in the dancer's apartment in Greenwich Village, New York. I left dance for a CPA career, a husband and 2 great kids who are now 27 & 22.
However, all through my CPA career and raising a family I kept up with all the social dances. I love Reggae, love the beat, the message & the sensuality of this music. And there were my disco days, and the 80's, an ofcourse my roots salsa, merengue, and cumbia. Alomg the way I took some swing dance lessons and just about anything makes me move.

In the last 10 years I finally came back to seriously concentrating on my dance, my passion. That's why the Goddess Store & Studio was created. Now I get to dance everyday...I started studying Belly Dancing with Maja, and I still do. I also have studied Belly Dance with Myriam Eli , Scheherazade, Jeri Beaucaire, Effy, Xiomara & now Maria Jammal. I have also taken all sorts of workshops with some of the best dancers in the world. Among them:Tamalyn Dallal, Leila Hadad, Domba, Raquia Hassan, Virginia, Bozenka, Amar Gammal and many others. I'm have also studied flamenco with Miguelangel , Paola Escobar, Niurca Marquez and with Master Instructor Marina Torres. I have also taken many flamenco workshops in Jerez, Spain and in the USA with Belen Maya, Omayra Amaya, Juan Parra, Chiqui de Jerez, La Greca, Niurca, Andres Pena & Juan Tejero. I studied Tantric Dance of Feminine Power with Vajra Ma from Los Angeles, Trance Dance with Gaia Budhai from South Beach, Erotic Dance with Annetta from Australia and Exotic Dance with The Art of Exotic Dance for Everyday Women.
